Freedom to Speak Up (Whistleblowing)

Your Privacy and Confidentiality

We are committed to creating a safe environment where you can speak up confidently. When you contact a Freedom to Speak Up (FTSU) Guardian, your information is protected by strict confidentiality protocols.

  • Strict Confidentiality: The FTSU Guardian will not disclose your identity, or any information that could identify you, to anyone else without your express consent, unless required by law or in exceptional circumstances where there is an immediate risk to safety.

  • Speaking Up Anonymously: If you do not wish to give your name, you can raise your concern anonymously. We will look into anonymous concerns with the same seriousness as any other. However, please note that we will not be able to provide you with direct feedback or updates if we do not have a way to contact you.

  • How Your Data is Used: Any information you provide is stored securely and accessed only by the FTSU team. It is used solely to investigate the issues raised, monitor trends, and improve workplace culture.

  • Protection from Detriment: We do not tolerate any form of harassment, victimisation, or mistreatment of anyone who raises a concern. Speaking up is a protected and valued act.
